Glacier’s Edge Council CSP Needs
I’ve done pretty well keeping current with Glacier’s Edge Council CSPs, but I have let one CSP fall through the cracks.
1. Glacier’s Edge Council - 2006 Baraboo Circus Heritage “20″
If you have this CSP and are willing to part with it, please contact me.
Four Lakes Council CSP Needs
I was going through my patches today and realized I needed more Four Lakes Council CSPs than I had originally thought.
Here is my Current Four Lakes Council CSP Needs List:
1. Four Lakes Council Khaki and Red Half Strip
2. Four Lakes Council Red and White Half Strip
4. Four Lakes Council Unofficial 1989 National Jamboree Staff JSP

5. Four Lakes Council Unofficial 1993 National Jamboree Staff CSP
Random Things Going Through My Mind…
Filed under: General, In the News, Military, Scouts, Web Development
- Why are we still calling Pakistan a key Ally? It just doesn’t seem right based on current details coming out of Pakistan.
- Will I ever start working on CSPCorner.org? I’ve been wanting to start a resource for CSP Collectors that has the potential to be just as good as The Internet Guide or OA Insignia. I think I’m hoping someone beats me to it, unfortunately I believe all of the sites that started showing potential have since been abandoned.
- I passed the State Social Work exam for my Certification on Friday, now I have to study for and pass the National exam. I’m nervous.
- Should I get a personal trainer to help motivate my change in lifestyle? I keep telling myself I need to get in better shape and I keep having the military tell me I need to get in better shape, but I procrastinate. Maybe I’ll see where I am in December.
- I wanted to buy a couch this weekend, but I refuse to shop during a Veteran’s Day Sale.
Glacier’s Edge Council #620
I just got word that the consolidated Four Lakes and Sinnissippi council will now be known as Glacier’s Edge Council #620. While Glacier’s Edge was one of the better names I still don’t like it. I keep trying to picture different patch ideas with no success except for a big white rock.
It will be interesting to see how this new council unfolds. Currently I’m not liking the massive amount of politics. I kept hearing this merger will be good for the kids, but I fail to see how good volunteers quiting is good for the program. I fail to see how blocking a great Assistant Scout Executive, who has proven himself by increasing membership and our friends of scouting campaign, from becoming the new Scout Executive is good for the boys. I guess time will tell.
As of right now I am thinking the best spot for me is to lay low for a while. While I can play the political game, it frustrats me and life is to short to spend time upset about stupid stuff. I do hope that the Lodge consolidation is youth run as I am a bit more pasionate about that. I’d hate to see the time and effort of past youth (yes, including myself) thrown to the wayside so some adults look good and keep their jobs. That is something I would stand up and fight against.
