Keys

It seems the topic of keys is currently going around the blog world… Matt had the post that seemed to start it, I missed Matt’s post but caught Aarons on Technosailor.

I have a lot of keys…
1. Briefcase key (I don’t even carry this briefcase around)
2. Mailbox key
3. Bike Lock key (Don’t ask me the last time I rode my bike, let alone locked it)
4. Main Condo Complex Door key
5. Actual Unit Door key
6. Aunt #1’s House key
7. Aunt #2’s House key
8. Locker key for Guard Armory
9. Car Key
10. Grandma’s House key
11. Copps Key Savings Card (I moved, don’t even shop there anymore)
12. Mobile Speed Pass ( I never got this to work right)

I guess 12 isn’t that bad. Well I guess it is if you compare it to Matt’s 4 but oh well.

I love it when I am working at various accounts for my security job and we have a boat load of keys that we don’t even use. The place I’ve been working lately has like 8 keys on the keyring we use 3.

Do less keys mean a simplier life? Personally I don’t think so. If I wanted to I could leave some of my keys at home but that would mean a trip home if I needed to stop by one of my relative’s houses. Thus making my life more complicated, right?
