232nd MI CO is Back!
After being deployed for approximately 14 months the 232nd Military Intelligence Company I belong to has returned to Wisconsin. Earlier this afternoon our Families, Friends, Fellow Wisconsin National Guard Members, Patriot Guard Riders, Media Members, and others welcomed us back to the badger state.
See the media coverage of our welcome home ceremony:
- 232nd Home from Afghanistan (NBC 15)
- Area Soldiers Receive Emotional Homecoming (Channel 3000)
- Emotional Homecoming for Wisconsin Troops (WKOW 27)
- Happy Homecoming Ahead (Monroe Times)
- Soldiers Reunite with Family (Wisconsin Radio Network)
- Returning GIs Ready to Claim Bennies [sic] (Wisconsin Radio Network)
I’ll be back posting (I know a bad practice) a few posts that I wrote while we were in transit when I couldn’t find an internet connection. Due to that same lack of internet access a large number of my websites have been falling by the wayside while I was deployed, hopefully I will be able to give them some much needed attention in the next couple of months.
It’s great to be back!
