Chong Up in Smoke
I’m not a big fan of Tommy Chong and his work, I think it has something to do with my anti-marijuana stance, but I did laugh when I ran across an article titled “Chong’s ‘Marijuana-Logues’ tour goes up in smoke” on MSNBC. I was glad to see the parole officer was willing to stand up to the pressure and enforce the conditions of Chong’s parole.

I bit the bullet and downloaded Mozilla Firefox today. Up until now I have just been too lazy to test it and at the same time I didn’t see the point in switching from IE, kind of like Jeremy. So far it seems nice but I don’t know if I’ll stick with it or not, only time will tell.

With the recent stories about the FBI checking out the membership rosters of the Greater Alabama Council the Council Executive of the Four Lakes Council drafted a letter to its members letting us know that it isn’t a problem here in our council. Classy move as we don’t need any more negative publicity…
Books, books, and more books
Well I finally picked up my textbooks today. I set a new personal record by waiting 32 days into the semester! I only gave in because I have a couple of tests coming up and I have getting a 4.0 as a New Year’s Resolution… we’ll see if it happens.
