It never fails…
Last night I ordered a new dell laptop. My old Compaq hit the dust before last summer and I need something to keep me busy when I start working nights at my security job. Anyway I was all excited because I found a coupon that took $400 off the price along with the other current offers Dell had, such as Free 2 Day Shipping and Memory upgrade, and a CD-RW/DVD Upgrade. Well right after I placed the order I went to make sure I got the verification email and what do I find? An email from Dell announcing a new coupon that is $500 off… Thats my luck.
First Day Back to School
Wow! I forgot how much fun going to school in the winter is. It is great freezing you ass off walking from building to building not to mention the four block walk from my car. (I’m too cheap to buy a parking pass) I also love inhaling a lung full of smoke each time I enter or exit a building.
Besides all the complaints it was a good day. All of my classes sound fairly easy and I caught up with some of my profs and former classmates.
Arrested for Telling Jokes???
CNN has a story in their Law Center about the founder’s of a group called Americans for Legal Reform who ended up getting arrested for disorderly conduct. The two men were waiting in line at the courthouse and told the following joke:
Q: “How do you tell when a lawyer is lying?â€
A: “His lips are movingâ€
According to the article some in line chuckled but a lawyer up front asked them to “pipe down,†when they didn’t he reported them to court personnel. Good thing I wasn’t there as I would have knocked out all the lawyer jokes I know, and I know a lot of Lawyer Jokes.
Happy Birthday Genny
So one of my friends and future roommates turns 22 today. I was hoping to still be home for it but I had to get back to Ft. Lee and finish up my training. She called on the first and reminded me that I had promised to take her out before her birthday since I was going to miss it, which I didn’t do. I might take her out when I get home, then again I did have a New Year’s resolution against flirting with her… this is going to be hard.
